SNYP Shoe Collection Fundraiser


    SNYP IS COLLECTING GENTLY USED AND NEW SHOES UNTIL NOVEMBER 1ST. THESE SHOES WILL BE REDISTRIBUTED BY FUNDS2ORGS AND SNYP WILL RECEIVE MONEY. SNYP IS SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR PET, OUR LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER. SHOES MAY BE DROPPED OFF AT THE SHELTER LOCATED ON TESTER STREET IN CLINTON.


Clinton ABC Preschool Program

Great Southern Stone Skipping Championship


    THE GREAT SOUTHERN STONE SKIPPING CHAMPIONSHIP IS SEPTEMBER 2ND AT THE FAIRFIELD BAY MARINA. Cash prizes to winners in adult and children flights. Free for spectators - bring folding chairs and coolers (no glass). $10 entry for competitors. Proceeds benefit Arkansas Foodbank and its member food pantries in Choctaw, Clinton, and Greers Ferry.

Works will be on display and for sale.

22nd Annual ACRDC Benefit Concert


    Location: Alread FUN Park. Bands include; Typsy Gypsy, Grades of Absolute Truth, The Bedrock, Possum Juice, Richard Finch, Southern Grass Band, and May Gardens. We will also have a Horseshoe Tournament, Disc Golf, a Homemade Salsa Contest, a Silent Auction, and Arts and Crafts Vendors. There will be kids games and a bouncy house. Gates open at 11:00 a.m. and the music will go on until 10:00 p.m. Prices are; Adults...$10, Ages 13 to 18...$5, Kids 12 and under...Free. First Annual Highway 65 Roadkill Wild Game Cook-Off


    CLINTON WILL HOLD THE FIRST ANNUAL HIGHWAY 65 ROADKILL WILD GAME COOK-OFF ON SEPTEMBER 30TH. CHEFS ARE CHALLENGED TO COOK UP THE MEAT CONTAINING AT LEAST 25% GAME MEAT COMMONLY FOUND AS ROADKILL. CASH PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED TO THE TOP ENTRIES. TASTE TESTING FOR VISITORS WILL BE FIVE DOLLARS. REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 15TH. THE EVENT WILL INCLUDE LIVE MUSIC AND VENDORS.


Dunham for Sheriff Campaign Meeting/Fundraiser


    The Dunham for Sheriff Campaign will hold an organizational meeting/fundraiser at the Formosa Community on Saturday September 30th at 6:00 P.M. A barbecue dinner will be served for a suggested donation of $10 for adults and $5 for children.
